What is Sports Massage?

Sports massage is a massage technique that manipulates soft tissue. This soft tissue includes muscles, skin, fascial, tendons and ligaments. This method of massage targets muscle groups and aims to release and correct imbalances in the body. These imbalances may arise from everyday work load, sports or a persons general composition and postural alignment.

Benefit of Sports Massage?

Releasing tension, increasing circulation and lymph flow in the body. Reducing pain, injury prevention, restoring injured muscle tissue and helps aid recovery. Supporting career longevity, increase in mobility and the range of movement of muscles.

Who can benefit from Sports Massage?

Anyone from elite athletes to your everyday healthy person can benefit from some type of sports massage and fascial release. Sitting in an office or repetitive movements at work also create imbalances and aches and pains that can be reduced with sports massage.
